Firefighting: Advanced Level
The objectives
Acquisition of necessary knowledge:
- To the proper execution of the first actions to combat a developing fire in order to extinguish it or limit its spread while waiting for the arrival of professional firefighters.
- To the organization and communication of the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- To know fire and its behavior, the equipment, and the techniques for fighting fires.
- To understand the combustion phenomena and the development of a fire.
- To know and perform the maneuvers, rules, and techniques for setting up and supplying, and to carry out fire extinguishing.
- Implement the firefighting equipment.
- Familiarize and master the use of emergency equipment.
- Familiarize with the fire detection control panel.
- Familiarize with the use of a breathing apparatus (ARI).
- Familiarize with the General Operations Procedure.
- Put oneself, perhaps for the first time, in a situation facing a fire, handling firefighting equipment.
